Transforming the original fuse-box of the Van Nelle Factory into a musical instrument during a live 45-hour concert as I processed the specifically created piece ‘Hidden Concert for Alarms, Screams, Horns and Air-Raid Sirens’ by Manchester based Distractfold Ensemble with the interventions by the audience pullng the levers of the switch-panel that were directly fed into the system via contact microphone. 5-minute fragments of the concert were recorded and pressed into vinyl for the audience to take home.

Part of the project Urban Songlines, a utopian/dystopian series of collaborative translations of buildings, urban structures and public spaces into music through site-specific sound-generation. These performances are a way of connecting to places by listening to them as well as a research into how we use and experience the public domain and to what degree we can claim ownership over it, discussing notions of inclusion, becoming and belonging.
